Appointments at the Surgery

Case Managers can be contacted by telephoning the receptionist on 01307 462316.

On telephoning the surgery you will be asked by the Receptionist for a brief outline of the problem. This is in order to allow the Case Managers to determine an appropriate and timely response. The reception staff are members of the practice team and are trained to ask certain questions.

Once the details of your call and telephone number has been received it will be passed to the Case Managers who will call you back if they are currently dealing with another patient. The details you supply initially help the Case Managers to reply to your needs in a timely manner.

Any information given by you to Receptionists is treated strictly confidential. However, if you feel an issue is very private and do not wish to say what it is then this will be respected.

If you are unable to attend an appointment for any reason please contact the surgery to cancel it.

The Practice has installed a patient operated self checking-in system.

We also have a text service to remind you when your appointment is.

This is available to patients who have a mobile phone & you will be sent a text message to your mobile phone to remind you of your appointment time. If you do not wish to receive text message reminders you will be required to unsubscribe from this service.

Please note that we do not offer a Walk–in Clinic, so if you do come to the practice without an appointment, and are not acutely ill, your details will be passed to the Case Manager who will call you back. However, if you think your problem needs urgent medical attention, you will be seen as soon as possible.
